A bill to get wine in the grocery store is getting another shot in Albany.
This bill, sponsored by Assemblyman Joe Morelle of Irondequoit–among others, is said to be more comprehensive than previous ones.
Liquor store owners lobbied against the last bill, arguing they couldn’t compete with big-box grocery stores.
