The B-Sens hit the road for the Blue Cross Arena in Rochester, New York Sunday for an intra-conference match with the North Division leading Americans.
Just 1:15 into the second period, following a scoreless first, Rochester’s Dylan Hunter gave the Amerks the 1-0 lead beating Mike Brodeur by backhanding a centering pass into the Binghamton net. Andrew Sweetland and Michael Caruso recorded assists on Hunter’s first goal of the season.
Less than two minutes later, B-Sens’ defenseman Paul Baier blasted a shot from the right point for his first goal of the season, knotting up the score 1-1. Kaspars Daugavins and Erik Condra each registered the assists on Baier’s tally.
