Bud Lowell ROCHESTER, NY (2009-05-27)
An area-wide narcotics enforcement task force has arrested five people — and broken up what police call an upper level drug organization that was operating on Rochester’s northeast side.
Rochester Police say a year-long investigation led by Rochester Police Officer Phil Sindoni probed into the connections between the Rochester gang and drug suppliers in New York City. On Friday, the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department Road Patrol stopped an SUV on Interstate-490 that authorities believed was carrying cocaine into Rochester.
